Most of the time, the default font size is set to 11. You have to click on the small 'Downward Arrow' as shown below.

Change Font Size in Google Sheets: 4 Steps

Step-1 Open Google Sheets Application: On your mobile device, look for the icon of the google sheets app. It is a green sheet of paper having a little fold on the top-right corner. It has white outlined cells over it. Cannot find it?

  • Go to the play store application on your mobile device.
  • In the search bar, type in 'Google Sheets.'
  • Look or the described icon.

Step-3 The 'A' Icon: By clicking on any cell, two formatting toolbars appear on the top and the bottom of the screen. The options to edit and format the sheets appear along with it.

  • In the topmost toolbar, you see an icon of capital 'A'.
  • It is almost at the center of the bar. It even has horizontal lines at its side that decrease in length from top to the bottom.

Step-4 Tap on the Size: The 'A' icon opens up a box at the bottom of the screen. It has two categories. One is for text editing and the other is for cell formatting.

  • Since changing font size is related to text editing, our answers lie in this category itself which is selected by default.
  • On scrolling a little further, you see the option of size just below the alignment options.
  • The size option has upward and downward arrow keys on the right end.
  • Between these arrows is a number that is the current font size.

Now if the name of the months, the name of the days, and the dates, all are in the same font size, it will be tough to make out easily. The readability of such a calendar is low. So, you can keep a larger font size for the title of the month, a little smaller for the days, and smaller than that for dates.
