Step-5 Click on 'Display Resolution':  Next, you have to scroll down to locate the ‘Display resolution’ option under the ‘Scale & layout’ section. And then click on the drop-down menu present on the far right edge of the tile. It will basically reveal the list of resolutions supported by your screen.

Step-6 Choose desired resolution from the list: A drop-down list will appear to you. Now, from the drop-down list, click on your desired resolution to select. And, apply immediately. This will bring up a prompt on your screen along with immediately changing the resolution of your screen.

Step-7 Choose either 'Keep Changes' or 'Revert': Next, you will see two options to choose from.

  • If you wish to keep the changes. Then, click on the ‘keep changes’ button from the prompt.
  • If you don't, then click on the ‘Revert changes’ button.
  • Also, in case you do not provide any input, the changes will be reverted within 60 seconds.
