Step 1 – Open Instagram App on your Device: Simply open the Instagram app on your smartphone or any other device by clicking on it. Because some functions aren't available on the browser version, it's best to utilise the Instagram app on your phone.

Step 2 – Click on Profile Icon: When the Instagram app opens, at the bottom-right of the screen a profile icon is visible. Simply click on that profile icon.

Step 3 - Click on Edit Profile: When your Instagram profile opens up, there is an 'Edit profile' option at the bottom of your Instagram bio. Click on the 'Edit profile option.

Step 4 - Click on Switch to Professional Account: When you click on edit profile it will lead you to several editing options. These options include changing your profile picture or setting up an Instagram bio. At the bottom there is an option 'Switch to professional account', you have to click on that.

Step 6 - Select your Page Topic: Instagram will further ask you to choose what kind of page you want to set up by providing a few alternatives. These alternatives include artist, musician/band, blogger etc. You can choose whichever option you like.

Step 7 - Click on Done: After choosing your page's topic simply click on done. This will make your Instagram account a professional page and the topic of your page will be displayed in your Instagram bio.
